By trade, I'm not an artist. And while I don't earn the majority of my income from writing, I am a writer. But I'm a photographer because it fulfills a need for a personal visual expression. Unlike many who embrace social media, I do not have a need to share everything I do.
I use this blog to share experiences and photographs that may not be in an album or collection. One of the nice things about having a blog is that you don't have to wait until you have an entire finished product. It also provides me a textual dimension to what is a visual medium.
